17th November 2021
We are currently operating as normal with the only restriction being that we are limiting stays to a maximum of seven nights. This is to allow as many people as possible to visit during busy spells.
26th April 2021
These are our current operating guidelines:
To ensure it is as safe as possible for people to stay in the retreat we are allowing at least 48 hours between people leaving and the next entry. As a consequence we will be limiting stays to a maximum of seven nights.
As things stand at the moment, we will also be unable to accept more than one guest at a time unless they are from the same household.
Just before you leave we would ask that you strip the bed and put the bedclothes and all towels in a bag which we will provide. We will also provide antiseptic wipes which we ask you to use to clean any surfaces you have touched regularly e.g. door handles, light switches etc. These used wipes should then be placed in a bag which should be sealed ready for disposal. Please also open a number of windows to allow airing.

If the Scottish Government’s indicated timetable for the easing of Coronavirus restrictions goes according to plan, we intend to re-open on 26th April. To start with we are assuming we will have to follow the guidelines as detailed below on 28th June 2020. We looking forward to welcoming people again.
27th December 2020
Sadly, due to our move to level 4 of the Coronavirus restrictions we have had to close again. We will open again as soon as we are allowed to. In the meantime, please keep safe.
28th June 2020
Following our enforced shutdown due to the coronavirus pandemic we re-opened on 15th July. However, due to current restrictions and guidelines, and respecting any possible concerns of our neighbours, there will be a number of small changes to the way we operate until we are sure it is safe to revert back to normal.
In particular, we ask that you observe any current guidelines in force here, and in you area. If you have been asked not to leave your area then please follow the guidelines.
To ensure it is as safe as possible for people to stay in the retreat we are allowing at least 72 hours between people leaving and the next entry. As a consequence we will be limiting stays to a maximum of seven nights.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but we feel it is our responsibility to keep our guests as safe as possible during their stay.
We look forward to welcoming our guests and friends, old and new, once again in these times when finding peace in a troubled world is even more important.
